Hi Marcin,

I have the TQ 2015 version. I have a problem with auto trimming. If it is set to on in Profiler (i.e. the “Deactivate Auto trim” is not checked) then the elevators behave erratically after take-off and AP disengages (I use P3D with JH).

Second problem (not sure if related to the above) is that the trim wheels do not center at 0. Instead they center at approx 4.5UP. I am not sure how to reset it to center at 0.

I checked on the forum but did not find an answer to these issues, so thanks for your help.

This can be caused by missed "0" position. To fix it follow as below:
To adjust Trim wheels to "0" you need to have TQ connected to power and USB. Open IOTest/TQ/ADC page. Check what is Trim Wheel line showing. At "0" position it should be 1400. In your case, this value will be different, then we need to bring this value back to 1400. Move wheels to the end of scale UP first (Elevator Trim Values will be decreasing towards 0), Once you reach 13.5 move very slowly same direction until you feel stop position (around 0 in Elevator trim line). Once reached, move wheel little bit more (difference between 0 and the position wheels are moved after powering TQ). Then move trim wheel back manually to 0 and read value. If difference is smaller repeat same scenario again and again until you will have 1400 at "0" position. If difference is bigger, do the same but opposite way. Go to -4, then move slowly until stop (Elevator Trim Values will be increasing towards 2048), then force wheel more same direction. And same go back to 0 position and read value. Repeat again if needed.

Second cause can be to low settings in "Manual Trim Threshold". 20 is minimum. If AP is disconnecting during flight, you might need to increase the value.

Hi Marcin,
I got the same problem. When trim wheels are in "0" postion the ECAM shows "4.0 up". The aircraft oscillates during flight, the trim wheel steps slowly more and more towards (direction "up";). I checked the value in IO Test/TQ/ADC which shows a value 1400 in the zero position regarding your description. But when I move the trim wheel to 13.5 up then shows a value around 323, to down pos 4.0 around 1722 and not 2048 accordance your description.... but also when I move the trim wheel to 13.5 the wheel does not stop around this pos, I can move the wheel ca. to the designation "nose". This is as long as I received the TQ and all was in function so I guess this is not the reason of the difference but only let you know. How can I fix that...

Have you done trim calibration in using "Edit Profile"? if yes you need to remove this calibration values. This can be done only by editing profile file in text editor. Quit Profiler , then go to my Documents/Profiler/Profiles and open your profile using notepad. Find Trim calibration section (search for "Trim" keyword) and edit min and max values to "0" ans "2048". Save and all should be correct.

Yes,
I did it this way. Now I edited the ini as your description. But I didn´t press min and max by calibration of the trim afterwards. No better results... So I decided to work from the beginning, clean Win10, clean Prepar3D etc... Now it works...

Hmmm, I feel thats not fully working, The nose of the aircraft commutes down and up a little. Does it mean, the trim wheels should not be edited (calibrated, press min and max) by profile editing?

Trim in Airbus is done automatically (exactly by aircraft developer) and we can't correct this at all. During the flight TQ takes data coming from aircraft to set Trim wheels position, but is not sending anything.
This behaviour can be caused by wrong settings in MCDU, for example ZWF/ZWFCG.

Hardware has nothing to do, how aircraft looks like in the air. We only passing data.
Trim in Airbus is done automatically (exactly by aircraft developer) and we can't correct this at all. During the flight TQ takes data coming from aircraft to set Trim wheels position, but is not sending anything.
